When the Los Angeles Rams kicked off in 2016, it was a homecoming to the City of Angels rather than a debut. The Rams had returned to Los Angeles after relocating to St. Louis in 1995, leaving the second-largest city in America without an NFL team. But one thing was still missing. Just four years after moving to St. Louis, the Rams had won the franchise’s first ever Super Bowl, defeating the Tennessee Titans 23-16 thanks to a game-saving tackle by Rams linebacker Mike Jones just one yard from the end zone. Rams fans in Los Angeles finally got their own big day in 2021 when their Rams became just the second team in history to win a Super Bowl in their own stadium. Can they win another one in 2024? Get your tickets from TicketX and be in the stands to find out!
Nothing excites NFL football fans more than when their team takes to the gridiron against one of their biggest rivals. Here are two of the Los Angeles Rams’ most significant rivalries.
The Los Angeles Rams’ rivalry with the San Francisco 49ers is considered one of the top NFL rivalries of all time, with the two California-based teams battling for control of the NFC West division from the 1950s to the mid-1990s when the Rams relocated to St. Louis. The enmity between the two teams is considered part of the two cities’ multi-sport rivalry (Dodgers-Giants of MLB being one of the most intense and long-standing). With the Rams and 49ers splitting their two games in 2023, but the 49ers getting to Super Bowl LIV, there will be plenty of pride at stake when the two teams meet on September 22, 2024 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and December 12 at Levi's Stadium in San Francisco.
The rivalry between the Los Angeles Rams and the Seattle Seahawks is a relatively new one, heating up starting in 2002 when the Seahawks moved into the NFC West, leading to a WIld Card playoff showdown in 2024 (won by the Rams 2004). The 2010s saw some particularly fierce encounters between the two teams, known as the Legion of Boom (Seattle) and Mob Squadron (Rams), with some questionable hits leading to more beef between the two teams. With the Rams winning 6 out of the team’s last 8 encounters, they will know the Seahawks will be gunning for them in 2024. Fans should be all pumped up to see these rivals go head to head this season on November 3 at Lumen Field in Seattle and January 12, 2025 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Rams preseason kicks off on August 11, 2024 against the Dallas Cowboys and August 17 against the Los Angeles Chargers, with both games at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The Rams then conclude their preseason on August 24 with a final preseason matchup against the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium in Houston.
The prices of tickets to Los Angeles Rams preseason games vary depending on the opposing team and the location of the game. As one example, we looked at prices of tickets to the Rams preseason game against the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on August 17.

While preseason games do not count towards point tallies in the NFL regular season, don’t completely write them off! Not only are tickets to preseason games much cheaper, but they also allow you to get a sneak peek at many of the exciting up and coming new players who might be joining the Los Angeles Rams this year. With cheaper prices from TicketX, it is also much more affordable to sit closer to the field for unbeatable views of all your favorite Los Angeles Rams players in action.
There will be 14 teams that qualify for the Postseason—seven from the AFC and seven from the NFC—and despite an influx of new and talented QBs drafted by teams in the 2024 NFL Draft, expect at least 11 of the same teams in the NFL Playoffs as last season.
So, who are the four that might not make it this time and who didn’t make the Playoffs last year but might in the 2024-25 season? The Buccaneers, Browns, and Steelers may find it harder this time around, with the Falcons, Bengals, and Jets possibly making the Wild Card round.
Last season, the Detroit Lions and San Francisco 49ers met in the NFC Championship Game, and the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs collided in the AFC Championship Game, with the 49ers meeting the Chiefs in the Super Bowl in Las Vegas.
Expect those four heavyweights, along with the Packers, Eagles, Cowboys, and Rams in the NFC and the Texans and Bills in the AFC, to make it back to the NFL Playoffs next season.
Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will be seeking their third straight Super Bowl win. With genius Head Coach Andy Reid, TE Travis Kelce, and a much-improved defense, they are the best team in the AFC and have lofty expectations. The Lions had the Niners on the ropes last year and have steadily improved the last two seasons. They are eyeballing a shot at the Super Bowl and have the skill position players and chip on their shoulders.
So Jared Goff and Detroit (12/1 to win the Super Bowl, DraftKings) could meet the best player in the NFL—Mahomes—and his Chiefs (+550) in Super Bowl LIX at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Sunday, February 9, 2025.
2024-25 NFL Super Bowl LIX Prediction: Chiefs 33 Lions 24
Despite their relative successes last season, the Los Angeles Rams are always looking to bolster their roster with free agents, new talent from the draft, and trades with other franchises. The Rams selected Jared Verse (OLB) as their top draft pick, who should bolster their ability to get at opposition quarterbacks. Trade rumors are swirling as well, with the Rams looking to target Patrick Surtain (CB) of the Denver Broncos, Darnell Wright (OT) of the Chicago Bears, and Marquise Brown (WR) of the Kansas City Chiefs in a bid to strengthen their team on both sides of the ball.
You can find the cheapest Los Angeles Rams tickets starting from $31.45 at SoFi Stadium on Dec 29 on TicketX. Prices vary depending on locations and dates, so please search for tickets based on the location and dates of games that you might be interested in attending.

Glitzy, futuristic SoFi Stadium opened at last in 2020, finally giving Tinseltown the NFL venue it deserved. The stadium was built to be home to both the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers. SoFi Stadium is open at the sides and though it technically has a roof, the canopy that covers the stadium is translucent, allowing in plenty of natural light. As well as all regular season and playoff Chargers and Rams home games, SoFi Stadium also hosts NCAA college football games, concerts, and international soccer matches. It also hosted Super Bowl LVI in 2021, where the hometown Rams won a dramatic 23-20 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals to bring LA its first Super Bowl since 1983. SoFi Stadium has been selected as one of the venues for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and will also provide the backdrop for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2028 Summer Olympics.
Visitors can access SoFi Stadium using the Metro C Line, getting off at Hawthorne/Lennox Station and either walking (2 miles, 30-40 minutes) or riding one of the free stadium shuttles organized for major games and events. A taxi or rideshare to the stadium is also a decent option. Many visitors arrive at SoFi Stadium in their own vehicles, but leave plenty of time to negotiate Los Angeles’s legendary traffic jams as well as game day traffic. Plenty of parking exists on site, but as much of this is allocated to season ticket holders for NFL games, it is best to reserve a spot in advance ($50-100). Visit SoFi Stadium’s official website for helpful maps, driving directions, and parking information.
The SoFi Stadium bag policy states that fans are in general encouraged not to bring containers or bags to games and events. Visitors are allowed to bring in bags made of clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC (maximum size: 12" x 6" x 12" in size), one-gallon clear plastic freezer bags, and small clutch bags (maximum size: 4" x 6"). Bags may be searched and X-rayed.
There is a lengthy list of rules at SoFi Stadium to ensure a safe and fun day for all at the stadium, though most of them are common sense. Some of the most important rules include:
Bag Searches - all visitors entering the stadium may be searched and should be prepared to open their bags for inspection.
Prohibited Items no balloons, drones, beach balls, coolers, strollers, cushions, computer bags, camera bags, weapons, selfie sticks, animals, etc. (see the stadium’s A-Z guide page for a full list)
Banners/Signs these are permitted but must be handheld and cannot contain advertising or obstruct the view of other fans.
Elevators - please give priority to guests with disabilities.
Visit the stadium’s A-Z guide page for a full list of rules at SoFi Stadium.
A good range of nice hotels can be found within walking distance (or a short cab ride) of SoFi Stadium, including Crystal Inn Suites & Spas - LAX, Best Western Plus Suites Hotel - Los Angeles LAX Airport, and Comfort Inn Cockatoo Near LAX Airport. Because the stadium is so close to the airport, there are a lot of nearby hotels!
SoFi Stadium is a huge venue with an impressive range of seating options. The stadium is able to expand to hold over 100,000 fans for certain events. There is a high proportion of premium seating at SoFi Stadium (this is the city of movie stars, after all…) including club seats and luxury suites that offer privacy and exclusivity, but also plenty of more affordable general seating. Despite the size of the stadium, there really isn’t a bad seat in the house, with great sight lines to the action from even the most distant nosebleeds in the upper tier. Keep checking TicketX to find out which tickets are available to games or events at SoFi Stadium and use our handy seating chart to compare seating options.
