About Brooks & Dunn
The country music group Brooks & Dunn are Eric “Kix” Brooks (69) and Ronnie Dunn (71) and they live in Nashville, Tennessee, long considered the Mecca of Country Music. Brooks was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, was a neighbor of Johnny Horton, and moved to Nashville in 1976. Dunn hails from Coleman, Texas, and won the grand prize in a talent contest which included a recording session in Music City.
In 1991, Brooks & Dunn came onto the music scene with their debut album Brand New Man, which included the hit song Boot Scootin' Boogie. The two icons played as a group from 1990 to 2010 and announced their retirement in 2009. Their last concert was at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on September 2, 2010.
The two kept recording as solo artists for Arista Nashville from 2011 until 2015 until the duo was reunited for a series of shows in Las Vegas with country legend Reba McEntire. Brooks & Dunn have been performing together since then and were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2019.
The list of nominations and awards for the two musicians is impressive and includes the Grammy Award for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group, (My Maria, 1996), the People’s Choice Awards for Favorite Country Group (Themselves, 2005), and the CMA Award for Vocal Duo of the Year (Themselves) and Single of the Year(Believe) in 2006.
Brooks & Dunn have released 12 studio albums and seven compilation albums for Arista Nashville and have charted 51 singles on the Billboard country charts with an impressive 20 No. 1 hits.

When Was Brooks & Dunn Reboot 2023 Tour?
The Brooks & Dunn Tour 2023 saw the country legends play 17 cities from May 4 to June 17, 2023, In May, the tour included stops at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri on opening night; the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City; Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky; PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh; KeyBank Center in Buffalo; Legacy Arena at the BJCC in Birmingham, Alabama; and Simmons Bank Arena in Little Rock, Arkansas.
In June, Brooks & Dunn played concerts at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska; Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota; Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia; Amway Center in Orlando; and the last show in Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The opening acts for the Brooks & Dunn Tour 2023 (Whiskey Riff) were Scotty McCreery and Megan Moroney. Brooks & Dunn were inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame on October 11, 2023, along with Keith Urban, Casey Beathard, David Lee Murphy, and Rafe Van Hoy.

Brooks & Dunn Reboot Tour 2024
The current Brooks & Dunn tour Reboot Tour, with backup acts David Lee Murphy and ERNEST, opened up on May 3 at the iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida and hit the road for more than 20 dates across the US and Canada, including dates in Tampa, Florida, New Orleans, Louisiana, Houston, Texas, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Denver in May, and Albuquerque, New Mexico, Fresno, California, Charleston, South Carolina, and Toronto, Ontario, and Montréal, Quebec in June in the Great White North.
The last show Brooks & Dunn did on the Reboot 2024 tour came at the Treasure Island Amphitheater in Welch, Minnesota on August 10. The setlist from that show can be found below. There are two more shows on tap in November you can get tickets for and enjoy these icons this calendar year.
On Friday, November 8, the group will be at Chase Field—the home of MLB’s

Brooks & Dunn have been nominated for the Vocal Duo of the Year at the 58th annual Country Music Awards (CMA) set to air on November 20, 2024 (ABC, 8 ET/7 CT/8 PT). The country legends won in this category for their song Believeat the 57th annual CMAs last year.
With the exception of 2000 (Montgomery Gentry), Brooks & Dunn won the CMA Vocal Duo of the Year from 1992 through 2006. The living legends hold the record for the most nominations in the category with 24 and hold the CMA record for Vocal Duo of the Year wins with 14 wins, including an amazing eight in a row (1992-1999).
