Playboi Carti, born Jordan Terrell Carter, is a rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. He started his music career with the stage name Sir Cartier and released a mixtape in 2011. When he turned 17, he changed his name to Playboi Carti. The rapper gained recognition with his 2015 song “Broke Boi” and began performing at fashion events. His 2017 self-titled release garnered critical attention, which sent him out on tour. He was a Grammy Nominee in 2022 for Album of the Year and won Best New Hip-Hop Artist from the iHeart Music Awards in 2018, among other awards.
Rumor has it that Playboi Carti is set to release his new album, titled I Am Music, in 2024. His last album, A Whole Lotta Red, came out three years ago. During the interim, Playboi Carti has delayed and scrapped other albums, but some believe he is causing delays on purpose.
In March 2023, Playboi Carti played an unreleased song called “Rockstar” during the Rolling Loud California, but since that time there hasn’t been any big news since. In June, he teased a new album, complete with a name, but then later scrapped it. However, in December 2023, he posted the I Am Music album name and hinted at a 2024 drop. The album was set to come out New Year’s Day, but was again delayed to later in 2024.
While fans are frustrated over the delays, the sensational album is sure to satiate their need for his flow when it finally comes out. Keep an eye on TicketX for updates on I Am Music.

Tour Name: Narcissist tour
Tour Dates: October 14 - December 23, 2021
The Narcissist tour was Playboi Carti’s first headlining tour in three years. It started in Nashville at the Municipal Auditorium and rapped up in Atlanta at the State Farm Arena. The 43-date tour also ran through Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, Brooklyn, and more. The tour featured openers Rico Nasty and Ken Car$on.
Fans raved about the Narcissist tour, saying Playboi Carti gave an amazing live experience. In addition to the show, fans wrapped around the block, even in cold locations, to get into the show as soon as possible. Reviewers said that even the opening acts brought high energy to the stage, and once Playboi Carti came out, the fog grew thick to show only a silhouette and work the crowd into a frenzy. Some of the highlight songs were “Sky” and “Rockstar Made.”
Although Playboi Carti is currently not on tour in 2024, check out TicketX for any updates! Once his new album releases, a tour is sure to follow and we’ll have all the dates and details.

Playboi Carti is known for his repetitive, catchy flow. He’s a different kind of wrapper with an off-filter, punk influence to his overall sound. He was affiliated with the A$AP Mob and gained fame in the 2010s with viral singles. He released Die Lit, his first album, which debuted on the Billboard charts at number 3. Any concert crowd is bound to be loud and hyped up, no matter what venue he visits.
CelebrityNetWorth.com lists Playboi Carti’s net worth at $9 million.
Keep in mind that worth is hard to calculate due to ever-fluctuating numbers on the market. Many financial aspects are private and it can take time for cash from concerts, merchandise, streaming, and other avenues to come in and add up.
Since Playboi Carti has been quiet for the last three years, his income hasn’t been as high as it is projected to be in 2024. This year, he should be releasing his much anticipated new album and embarking on a brand new tour. Those items, along with refreshed hype and more streaming, will bring in a lot more money. He could make up to $300,000 per show, and fans can even book him for corporate events and personal appearances for $900,000. Depending on how many concerts he places on his tour and how well his streams do amidst the new album, he stands to make upwards of $5 million this year.
