Wave to Earth is a South Korean band that plays indie rock. They formed in 2019 and just released their first full studio album in 2023. Wave to Earth started when Kim Daniel and Shin Dongkyu were in middle school and wanted to create music to showcase a new wave of sound. Since that time, they have released singles and two EPs. They started playing South Korean rock festivals once their 2023 album was released and they also completed a sold-out North American Tour. This year, they were awarded Musician of the Year at the Korean Music Awards.
