Nate Bargatze is a comedian who hails from Nashville, Tennessee. His comedy revolves around life anecdotes, his family, and fun encounters from his life. His father was a magician and motivational speaker and he attended Donelson Christian Academy followed by Volunteer State Community College.
Nate Bargatze began his career in Chicago but moved to New York after seeing Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedian documentary in 2002. He performed at The Boston Comedy Club and started appearing on late shows. By 2013, he was performing for the armed forces, writing for the Video Game Awards, and winning comedy festivals.
The comedian’s first stand-up album hit the Billboard Charts at number 2 for 2 weeks and in 2017, Bargatze released his first Netflix special. In 2019, Nate Bargatze Atlanta shot another hour-long special in Georgia and he started hosting a podcast. His 2022 special got him nominated for a Grammy for Best Comedy Album.
Nate Bargatze has hosted Saturday Night Live and he helped to break a record by packing over 19,000 attendees into a performance at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
