Almost Monday is an indie pop trio that released their debut EP in 2020. The group, hailing from San Diego, California, met while in high school in the North County area of the region. Two of the three were good friends growing up, and they met their third while surfing. At first, they wanted to call their band “The Mondays,” but that name was being used, so they switched over to Almost Monday. They released their first single in 2019, and it went to number 27 on the Alternative charts. They have toured North America and have continued to release singles and EPs. Their debut studio album just came out in 2024, and they went on tour to support it, moving through Asia, the UK, Europe, and the U.S.
