Junior H, born Antonio Herrera Perez, is a Mexican singer/songwriter who is part of the corridos tumbados movement, which he helped to make popular. He was born in Mexico and started writing lyrics with friends at the age of 12. Junior H and his family moved to the U.S. (Utah) when he was 15, and at 17, he learned to play a variety of instruments by watching YouTube, including both the guitar and the accordion. When he uploaded his songs onto YouTube and let them sit for a month, they racked up over 2 million views, which led to his debut album. In 2022, he won Region Mexican Artist of the Year.
