Lauren Watkins is an American country music singer and songwriter, born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. Signed to Big Loud Records and Songs & Daughters, she blends traditional country storytelling with contemporary influences, drawing inspiration from artists like Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow, Eric Church, and Miranda Lambert. Known for her smoky, gravelly vocals and authentic lyrics, Watkins released her debut EP Introducing: Lauren Watkins featuring "Shirley Temple" and "Camel Blues," followed by her acclaimed 17-track debut album The Heartbroken Record in 2024, named one of the best country albums of the year by Stereogum. She has toured with Morgan Wallen, Riley Green, and Lainey Wilson, performed at major festivals including CMA Fest and Faster Horses, and made her Grand Ole Opry debut in June 2025, cementing her status as one of country music's most exciting new voices.
