Liam Payne

Payne gained much of his popularity from his time as a member of One Direction. His first shot at fame came from being eliminated from X Factor in 2008. When he gave it another shot in 2010, he ended the competition as 1 of 5 members of the boy band One Direction.

Since the band went on hiatus in 2016, Liam Payne has been creating music on his own and has been fairly successful at it. His debut album, LP1, performed well in terms of streams and fan reception. Since 2016, Payne has also sold over 3 million albums and 23 million singles as a solo artist.

Liam Payne's New Album

Liam Payne released his debut studio album in December 2019, and the reception was huge. Today, he has sold over 3 million copies of the album, but it’s been five years, and fans are asking for more.

Fans who have been following Payne’s social media updates and interviews know that this year is the most likely time for the English singer to drop LP2. However, despite hints here and there, Liam and his team have yet to announce an official date for the album release.

In May 2023, Liam announced that he was working on his second studio album. The singer also spent a lot of 2023 in the studio, and according to Universal Music, his collaborator, Jamie Scott, described it as a “year-long process of self-reflection.” In March 2024, he dropped the much anticipated single, “Teardrops,” and fans speculate that it was released off the LP2 album that will follow shortly after. There is still no update on LP2 but stay close to TicketX because when there is an update, you’ll see it here.

Liam Payne 2023 Tour Review

Liam Payne was supposed to go on his first solo tour in 2023, starting with Latin American dates on September 1. However, the tour did not go as planned because, in August, Liam announced that he would not be able to perform after he was hospitalized for a bad kidney infection.

Since his 2023 announcement, he has still not gone on tour, but hopefully, after LP2 is released, there will be talks about a new tour to promote the album.

Liam Payne's Net Worth and Annual Earnings

In 2019, Business Insider estimated Liam Payne’s net worth to be $60 million, the least of all One Direction members. Today, Celebrity Net Worth places the singer’s net worth at $70 million.

Celebrity Net Worth did not share the exact figures they used to reach Payne’s present net worth estimate, so we can’t completely rely on their claims. Estimating an artist's net worth is difficult because you need information about their assets and liabilities, which most people keep private.

However, we can use public data on Liam Payne’s music to calculate his annual earnings. Even though he has not gone on a solo tour, he still performs at live concerts for which he gets paid.

Interestingly, even though One Direction has not released new music in years, the artists still get paid by people who buy and listen to their songs. In 2022, Payne was paid £640,000 for annual earnings from One Direction royalties, as reported by The Sun.

With his 37 tracks listed by Kworb, Liam Payne has over 2 million streams on Spotify and averages 351,750 streams daily. Using the rate of $0.004 per stream, we can estimate, based on average daily streams, that Liam makes $513,555 annually from Spotify alone.

Putting all this together, we estimate Liam Payne’s annual earnings to be somewhere around $2 million. If he drops the highly anticipated LP2 album this year, we expect his 2024 earnings to be even higher than this estimate.
