Situated on Nashville’s renowned “Rock Block” in Elliston Place, EXIT/IN dates all the way back to the 1970s as a performance venue for musicians and comedians (Steve Martin performed there frequently before he became famous), as well as a place to enjoy a few drinks with friends. EXIT/IN became mostly a rock music venue from the 1980s, though these days it attracts a somewhat more eclectic lineup of bands and solo artists from different genres. With superb sound systems, lighting, and interior design, EXIT/IN is a great place to catch up-and-coming local talent as well as more established and well-known performers. With room for 500 fans, the venue feels neither too large nor too small, making for an experience that is intimate enough yet still feels big enough to be a party.
