Seattle has always been known for its impressive live music scene that has given birth to some of the biggest bands in recent history. The Crocodile Complex has been one of the city’s best live music venues ever since it opened back in 1991. The venue now includes three performance spaces: the 750-person main stage, 300-person Madame Lou's, and 100-person Here After. Madame Lou’s has the dubious distinction of being named after a local Seattle brothel owner from just after the turn of the 20th century. The three stages allow for different slightly levels of intimacy between performers and fans, though all are small enough to ensure a superb experience.
Because the Crocodile gives patrons the chance to experience great live music within a closer, more intimate setting, the venue has long attracted many up and coming artists as well as established touring bands. Performances at the venue vary from year to year. Here are just a few of the shows scheduled to be on stage in 2024 at the Crocodile :
・Mar 4 - Bad Nerves/Lilly
・Mar 10 - Darren Kiely
・Mar 17 - Mehro, King Isis
・Mar 10 (2 shows) - Dustin Nickerson
・Mar 23 - Typhoon: White Lighter 10th Anniversary Tour
・Apr 19 - Gloom Division: I Don’t Know How But They Found Me
・Mar 9 (2 shows) - Dustin Nickerson
・Mar 27-28 - Anna Przy
・May 30 - Jay Jurden
Since it first opened in 1991, the Crocodile has provided a stage (or three stages, really) for live music. Countless famous singers and musicians have performed there, including Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and the Beastie Boys, among countless others. When it comes to live music, the Crocodile has something for everyone on its three stages!
