Jack Harlow

Jackman Thomas "Jack" Harlow, born on March 13, 1998, is an American rapper and songwriter renowned for his dynamic style. Signed to Generation Now and Atlantic Records, he also co-founded the musical collective Private Garden. Harlow's breakout hit What's Poppin soared to number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, solidifying his position in the rap scene.

Hailing from Louisville, Harlow's journey into rap began at the young age of 12, when he and a friend crafted rhymes using a Guitar Hero microphone and a laptop. This early experimentation led to the creation of Rippin' and Rappin, which they sold at their school, Highland Middle School. By seventh grade, he had upgraded to a microphone, releasing his first mixtape, Extra Credit, under the alias Mr. Harlow.

Graduating from Atherton High School in 2016, Harlow's talent quickly caught the attention of major labels, but he opted to stay independent. In November 2014, during his junior year, he dropped another mixtape, Finally Handsome. The release of his debut commercial album, The Handsome Harlow, followed in November 2015.

Throughout high school, Harlow regularly performed sold-out shows at prominent Louisville venues like the Mercury Ballroom and Headliners.

In 2021, he joined Lil Nas X on Industry Baby, making his first number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100. Then, a sophomore album, Come Home the Kids Miss You, arrived in May 2022. Singles First Class and hits like Nail TechDua Lipa, and Churchill Downsfeaturing Drake performed remarkably.

Continuing his momentum, Harlow released his third studio album, Jackman, in April 2023, which debuted in the top ten of the Billboard 200 chart. His versatility and consistent chart success have solidified his position as a prominent figure in the music industry.
