Cross Canadian Ragweed is a rock back from Yukon, Oklahoma. The band, which came together in 1994, released 5 studio albums and 3 live records. They were together until 2010 and at the rise of the red dirt music scene in Texas and Oklahoma. They disbanded after 15 years together, but have been teasing a reunion as of September 2024.

The four founding members started playing together after having known one another since grade school. They got together every night of the week and jammed. They finally formed a band and crossed their names together to create the name. Cross Canadian Ragweed received a lot of college radio airplay before they came out with their first album in 1998. Their fan base and its loyalty gained them success and they continued on to record other albums.
