When We Were Young festival is an event that happens every year in Winchester’s Las Vegas Festival Grounds during the third weekend of October. It started on 8th April 2017 from The Observatory which is located in Santa Ana, a city in California.
Started in London in 2010 and continued every year, at some point in 2022 it was moved to Winchester due to COVID and had to run for 3 days following the success of its lineup. The last event was held in 2023 with Blink-182, Green Day and Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance headlining it.
This year’s edition was announced on the 13th November 2023, a few weeks after 2023 Pop –Punk/Emo revival. When We Were Young 2024 festival will be held on October 19, 2024 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds.
If the game is full-album sets, the goal appears to be rather simple. My Chemical Romance will be performing The Black Parade which we know was their second studio album, and Pretty Girls Make Graves also is playing The New Romance; well, it would be actually their first time playing after they’ve split in 2007.
Other shows are Jimmy Eat World performing Bleed American, Dashboard Confessional performing Dusk, Pierce The Veil performing Collide, A Day To Remember performing Homesick, the Used performing In Love And Death, Simple Plan performing No Pads, No Helmets … Just Balls.
Because of many requests, the organizers added one more day on the 19th of November 2023, for the 20th of October 2024. The extra day will have the same schedule of performances. Details for the second show will be announced soon and tickets will be available on sale starting Tuesday, November 21st at 10 AM, PT. The general sales begin at 10 in the morning local time, however there is provision for waitlists.

For this occasion, you are better off wearing comfortable and stylish outfits suited for outdoor events. Opt for band tees, distressed jeans, and leather jackets to match the punk/emo vibe. Accessorize with statement jewelry, combat boots, and sunglasses. Layer with flannels or hoodies for cooler weather. Don't forget sunscreen and a hat for sun protection.
