The Blood Brothers are a post-hardcore band that got together in 1997 in Seattle. They have released 5 albums before their break-up in 2007. They reunited for shows in 2014 and then again in 2024 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their Crimes album. Three of the members got together in a band called Vade when they were just 15. They grabbed two more members and began calling themselves The Blood Brothers in 1997. They recorded on a 7-inch record in a basement for $200. They then left for their first tour after graduating from high school. After a decade of making music together, they parted ways.

The Blood Brothers take their musical style from many genres including hardcore punk, dance, experimental, emo, post-punk, and even screamo. They are also known for the unique dueling vocals they had within their group. Their last album came out in 2006.
