In This Moment is a rock band that formed in 2005 in Los Angeles. Singer Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth found drummer Jeff Fabb and started a band, which they called Dying Star. When they became unhappy with the musical direction they had taken, they changed the name to In This Moment and added bassist Josh Newell and guitarist Black Bunzel. Their debut album came out in 2007, followed by a second release the next year. They have released eight albums total, the last of which came out in 2023. They were nominated for two Alternative Press Music Awards, one for Best Hard Rock Artist and one for Best Live Band. They were also nominated for a Grammy for Best Metal Performance.
