Coin is a pop rock band from Nashville, Tennessee that began in 2012. The band put out two EPs that same year, but gained mainstream notice when their single “Run” became popular after their self-titled debut was released in 2015. Critics called them new wave crash-course survivors who were trying to break the Nashville mold and when their music got positive reviews, it also received heavy airplay on radio stations. They have been on several tours since 2012 and their most recent album, in 2024, spurred another tour called “I’m Not Afraid of Tour Anymore.”
