Minnesota United FC 2 (MNUFC2) is an American professional soccer team based in Blaine, Minnesota, serving as the reserve and development team of Minnesota United FC of Major League Soccer. The team competes in MLS Next Pro, the developmental league launched by MLS in 2022, and was announced as one of its founding member clubs on December 6, 2021. The team plays its home matches at the National Sports Center Stadium in Blaine, which previously served as Minnesota United's original home venue. Its primary purpose is to bridge the gap between the MNUFC Academy and the MLS first team, providing young players aged roughly 18 to 24 with professional-level competition and experience. The squad features a mix of homegrown academy products and international signings. In 2025, the team earned its first-ever MLS Next Pro Playoffs appearance, advancing to the Western Conference Final before being eliminated.
