Floyd Mayweather Jr. (born February 24, 1977, in Grand Rapids, Michigan) is an American professional boxer widely regarded as one of the greatest fighters of all time. Known by the nicknames "Pretty Boy" and "Money," he retired with a perfect professional record of 50 wins and no losses, with 27 knockouts. A five-division world champion, Mayweather won 15 major world titles spanning super featherweight through light middleweight. As an amateur he won three U.S. Golden Gloves championships and earned a bronze medal in the featherweight division at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Renowned for his defensive mastery, hand speed, and ring intelligence, he was a six-time winner of the Best Fighter ESPY Award and topped the Forbes list of highest-paid athletes four consecutive years from 2012 to 2015.
