About Micah Tyler

Micah Tyler is an American Christian singer-songwriter born on April 19, 1983, in Buna, Texas. Known for his self-described "Southern Soul" style blending Gospel, country, and soul influences rooted in southeast Texas, he served as a youth pastor for nearly a decade before pursuing music full time. After driving a sausage delivery truck to make ends meet, Tyler signed with Fair Trade Services and released the EP Different (2016), followed by his full-length album New Today (2020), which reached number 25 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart. His song Different is certified Gold by the RIAA, and he has earned multiple Dove Award and K-LOVE Award nominations. Tyler has five number one Christian radio hits and is known for his passionate, ministry-driven live performances.
