Wild Rivers is a folk band that released their self-titled debut album in 2016. They got together as a two-piece band, which included Devan Glover and Khalid Yassein, and they hit the studio for the first time in 2013. As a result of a one-day recording session, they had three songs, some of which would later appear on their first album. They opened for The Paper Kites, an Australian band, in 2018, and the Canadian band released a second album in 2022. Wild Rivers was honored with a Juno Award in 2023 as Breakthrough Group of the Year. They have participated in a charity single, which benefits youth mental health, and they opened for the country music trio The Chicks in 2023. They were nominated for another Juno Award in 2025 as the Adult Alternative Album of the Year.
