Mulroy Civic Center is part of Oncenter. Oncenter is a three-building convention and entertainment complex in Downtown Syracuse, New York, United States. It is composed of Nicholas J. Pirro Convention Center, Upstate Medical University Arena, and John H. Mulroy Civic Center Theaters. Mulroy Civic Center includes Crouse-Hinds Concert Theater, Carrier Theater and Bevard Studio. The John H. Mulroy Civic Center at Oncenter is a versatile facility that includes three unique theaters suitable for a wide range of events such as stage productions, concerts, meetings, and lectures. The main theater, the Crouse-Hinds Theater, impresses visitors with its grandeur, featuring a 60-foot-wide proscenium arch and the largest stage in upstate New York. It accommodates up to 2,117 guests across three tiers with excellent acoustics, ensuring an engaging experience for both performances and large gatherings. For smaller events, the Carrier Theater offers a cozy atmosphere with 463 seats and a 57-foot-wide stage, making it ideal for meetings, concerts, and dramatic presentations. The most intimate venue within the center, the Bevard Studio, can host up to 162 people in a 40' x 60' space, perfect for meetings, recitals, and workshops. All theaters are well-equipped with modern audiovisual technology, lighting, and other essential accessories, providing ample backstage amenities including spacious lobbies, rehearsal and dressing rooms. Additionally, the facility offers easy access to a 1,000-car parking garage and has convenient loading docks for seamless event setup and execution.
