About NBA Eastern Conference First Round

The NBA Eastern Conference First Round is the opening stage of the NBA Playoffs, featuring eight of the best teams from the Eastern Conference competing in best-of-seven series. Seeds one through six earn automatic berths by finishing with the top six records in the conference during the regular season, while seeds seven and eight are determined through the NBA Play-In Tournament involving the seventh through tenth ranked teams.
