About UCLA Bruins Softball

The UCLA Bruins softball program represents the University of California, Los Angeles, in NCAA Division I as a member of the Big Ten Conference, playing home games at Easton Stadium. Founded in 1975, UCLA is the most decorated program in college softball history, having won 12 NCAA national championships, more than any other school, and one AIAW title in 1978. The Bruins have made 36 Women's College World Series appearances and won a national title in five consecutive decades. Their most recent championship came in 2019. The program has produced more softball Olympians and All-Americans than any other university, and legendary coaches Sharron Backus and Sue Enquist built the foundation of UCLA's dynasty across four decades of dominance.
