About Utah Utes Softball

The Utah Utes softball program represents the University of Utah in NCAA Division I as a member of the Big 12 Conference, playing home games at Dumke Family Softball Stadium in Salt Lake City. Founded in 1976, the program is led by head coach Amy Hogue, a Utah alumna who has served as head coach since 2008 and is the program's all-time winningest coach. Over nearly five decades, the Utes have made six Women's College World Series appearances, earned 23 NCAA regional berths, won 18 conference titles, and produced 20 All-Americans. A landmark season came in 2023 when Utah won the inaugural Pac-12 Tournament championship and advanced to the Women's College World Series for the fifth time in program history.
