The Auburn Tigers softball program represents Auburn University in NCAA Division I as a member of the Southeastern Conference, playing home games at Jane B. Moore Field in Auburn, Alabama. Founded in 1997, the program reached a historic milestone in 2015 under former head coach Corey Myers, when the Tigers made their first Women's College World Series appearance after posting a program record 56 wins. Auburn's most celebrated alumna is Kasey Cooper, a three-time NFCA All-American and 2016 espnW National Player of the Year who led the Tigers to the WCWS championship game that year. Currently led by co-head coaches Kate and Chris Malveaux, Auburn has made 13 NCAA Regional appearances and produced standout pitchers including 2023 SEC Pitcher of the Year Maddie Penta.
