About Beauty School Dropout

Beauty School Dropout is an American pop punk band formed in Los Angeles, California in 2020, consisting of vocalist Cole "Colie" Hutzler, bassist Brent "Beepus" Burdett, and producer/guitarist Bardo Novotny. The band name was inspired by the Grease song, a favorite of Hutzler's grandmother. Starting as Hutzler's solo project, the trio developed with executive producers Jason Aalon Butler of FEVER 333 and Rob Cavallo, known for his work with Green Day and My Chemical Romance. Blink-182's Mark Hoppus became an early mentor, signing the band to his label Verswire. Their debut EP BOYS DO CRY (2021) was followed by We Made Plans & God Laughed (2022), which featured Hoppus on the single ALMOST FAMOUS, and their second studio album Ready to Eat (2023).
