The distinctive black and purple Elevation 27 has been an integral part of the live music culture in Virginia Beach since the end of 2018. The owners love music and have put a lot of attention to detail and the best sound quality into the interior. The charm and passion with which the locally owned and operated music venue is run has made Elevation 27 a popular location in the region. The focus is on bringing national touring artists to a world-class sound stage. The first event featured Waxing Poetics – other well-known artists include Cassadee Pope (winner of "The Voice" 2012), the indie rock band The Mountain Goats and the internationally known rock band Gogol Bordello. The facility also serves as a varied dance club – for example, a Taylor Swift Night was held for all Swifties (called Swiftogeddon). Elevation 27 is available for holiday celebrations, weddings, corporate functions, and private gatherings.

Elevation 27 Bag Policy

Bags or purses larger than 8 in. x 8 in. are prohibited from entering the venue. Bags do not need to be transparent. Backpacks, duffle bags, and camelbacks are not permitted.

Elevation 27 offers tables with four to eight seats – there is also a standing area. Configuration of the tables may vary between events so make sure to check the event maps of the ticketing site from which you bought your tickets. All table and booth ticket holders are required to meet a minimum food purchase of $10.00 per person.

Which table is best to reserve for a concert? Any table is suitable with the lower numbers towards the front. There are a few seats closer to the stage along a railing where food and beer can be placed. The building was constructed in a new orientation so that an open hall was created halfway from the stage.

As a whole, we recommend Tables 10 to 14 next to the GA standing. It is elevated seating, so the view is not restricted.
