Monterey Jazz Festival
The Monterey Jazz Festival has developed into one of the most prestigious events in jazz history – it has opened its doors every year since 1958, making it one of the oldest jazz festivals in the world. It has a large following; especially because it presents well-known and up-and-coming artists. There is something for every fan. Jazz in all its forms and colors is celebrated at the Monterey County Fairgrounds. Louis Armstrong, Miles Davis, and Billie Holiday have already been part of the event and thrilled the audience.

Monterey Jazz Festival 2018–2023 Review
What are the fans' reviews of the Monterey Jazz Festival? Opinions vary somewhat. One positive comment was that the program offers a lot of variety – there are well-known and lesser-known talents performing. There are different stages and the atmosphere is pleasant (suitable for children/young people). The food and drinks offerings are good. Many fans emphasized the festival's long-standing commitment to promoting female jazz artists, according to Yelp.
However, there were negative comments. There were too few seats: Chairs were available for rent, but the prices were too high ($26), according to Tripadvisor. Bringing your own seats is prohibited. The cost of parking and food was also negative. Despite the mixed reviews, jazz fans continue to love the Monterey Jazz Festival.

For example, a pair of leggings completes any outfit perfectly – and keeps you warm at the same time. Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes. You'll be walking on grass all day and won't miss out on your dance routine.
Essentials
Sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, and a small backpack or shoulder bag for your essentials. Clear bags let you get through security quickly. Since it's an outdoor event, don't forget sunscreen and a reusable water bottle. A phone charger is also a good idea.
