The South Carolina Gamecocks baseball program represents the University of South Carolina in NCAA Division I as a member of the Southeastern Conference, playing home games in Columbia, South Carolina. Dating back to 1892, the program is one of college baseball's most storied, with 35 NCAA Tournament appearances, 11 College World Series berths, and back-to-back national championships in 2010 and 2011, making South Carolina one of six programs in NCAA history to win consecutive titles. The Gamecocks hold the NCAA record for consecutive wins in the national tournament with 22, as well as the longest winning streak at the College World Series with 12 straight victories from 2010 to 2012. The program has produced 61 Major League Baseball alumni and over 2,800 all-time wins.
