The Tampa Bay Sun FC is one of the teams that would make its debut in the USL Super League in August 2024. The professional women’s soccer team based in Tampa, Florida, was founded on May 16, 2023, and is owned by Jeff Fox, David Laxer, and Darryl Shaw. The team will compete in a new Division I league under the coaching guidance of Head Coach Denise Schilte-Brown. The Riverfront Stadium along the Hillsborough River in Downtown Tampa will be home to the Suns team. The Suns team will wear a yellow kit for their home games, while their away game kit is blue.
