About North Carolina State Wolfpack Baseball

The NC State Wolfpack baseball program represents North Carolina State University in NCAA Division I as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference, playing home games at Doak Field in Raleigh, North Carolina. Dating back to 1903, the program has been led by head coach Elliott Avent since 1997 and has made 35 NCAA Tournament appearances, winning four ACC championships. The Wolfpack made four College World Series appearances, most notably in 2013 when they returned to Omaha for the first time in 45 years featuring future MLB stars Carlos Rodon and Trea Turner. The program has produced 50 Major League Baseball alumni and reached the No. 1 national ranking for the first time in program history in 2019.
