Badflower is a rock band that was formed in Los Angeles and signed with Big Machine. When they released their first EP in 2016, they were named Artist of the Week by Apple Music. Their first studio album was released in 2019, and their second dropped in 2021. The earliest formation of Badflower was in 2015 when they were called the Cartunes. Music school students met in their Hollywood apartment building and started writing songs for a 5-piece band.
