Katelyn Tarver is an American singer-songwriter and actress born on November 2, 1989, in Glennville, Georgia. She first gained public attention as a Top 10 finalist on the reality singing competition American Juniors in 2003, which led to the release of her debut album Wonderfully Crazy in 2005. She is widely known for her recurring role as Jo Taylor on the Nickelodeon series Big Time Rush. As a musician, she has independently released multiple EPs including A Little More Free (2011), Tired Eyes (2017), and Kool Aid (2018), as well as the album Subject to Change (2021). Her song "You Don't Know" amassed over 50 million views on YouTube, and she co-wrote Cheryl Cole's 2014 UK hit "Crazy Stupid Love." In 2021, she launched a side project called REAVES with collaborator Will Anderson. She has also won the songwriting competition show Songland with her song "Young," recorded by Old Dominion.
