Blanco Brown is an American country rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer born on March 24, 1985, in Atlanta, Georgia. Raised between Atlanta's Bankhead neighborhood and rural Butler, Georgia, he developed a love for both hip-hop and country music, drawing on artists like OutKast and Johnny Cash. Before launching his solo career, he worked as a producer and songwriter for artists including Fergie, Pitbull, Chris Brown, and Childish Gambino. He coined his own genre, "TrailerTrap," a fusion of country storytelling and hip-hop trap beats. His debut single "The Git Up," released in 2019, topped Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, reached the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100, and went massively viral on TikTok. In 2021, he achieved a second number-one country hit as a featured artist on Parmalee's "Just the Way." That same year he survived a serious motorcycle accident that broke both his arms and legs, from which he fully recovered.
