About Yacht Rock Revue

Yacht Rock Revue is a rock band from Atlanta, Georgia that formed in 2007 and started out primarily doing cover songs. Their genre, called “yacht rock,” consists of soft rock from the ‘70s and ‘80s, but also includes songs from the ‘90s. The band was gathered from members of the indie rock band Y-O-U, which broke apart after gaining a weekly residence club gig. Yacht Rock Revue started out as a side project, but became the main focus for the seven members who joined. They contracted with Live Nation and toured nationally, playing over 100 shows a year. Because of their high demand, they formed a subsidiary band called Yacht Rock Schooner in 2009. Their first original single came out in 2019, followed by their debut album in 2020. They opened for Kenny Loggins in 2024. Two of the founding members opened a restaurant in the Old Fourth Ward of Atlanta.
