Gorilla Biscuits is a hardcore punk band that formed in 1986 in New York City. The band is signed to Revelation Records and has been a big part of the New York hardcore scene. They originally came together after two of the members met in high school in Long Island and released a self-titled debut album. They released their second offering in 1989. The group got a good deal of underground popularity and is one of the first youth crew bands. When they first got together, they made some low-fi demo tapes and sold them at the dollar store.
