Amigo The Devil, real name Danny Kiranos, is a singer, songwriter, guitar and banjo player. His music has been called ‘murderfolk’ and ‘dark folk’ because of its themes of death, murder, and dark subjects. He uses sounds of country, rock, folk, and heavy metal, among others. Kiranos created his own label called Liars Club Records. Amigo The Devil was raised in Miami, Florida, and started moving around the country at 17. He started going on stage with his stage name in San Francisco, where he had settled to work in the brewing industry. His energetic live performances built up a fan base. In 2019, November 16 became “Amigo the Devil Day” in Austin, Texas, as awarded by Mayor Steve Adler. He has steadily appeared at festivals across the country. He has four albums and four EPs, ranging from 2010 to 2024.
