NJPW Resurgence is an annual professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) as part of its NJPW Strong brand, held in Southern California. The event debuted in August 2021 at The Torch at LA Coliseum in Los Angeles, and has since become one of NJPW's premier North American showcase events, drawing top talent from both NJPW's global roster and its North American division. The 2025 edition — the fourth Resurgence overall — took place on May 9, 2025, at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California, headlined by Hirooki Goto defending the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Zack Sabre Jr., and Konosuke Takeshita defending the NEVER Openweight Championship against El Phantasmo. The event also featured the NJPW Strong Women's Championship, the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship, and the Strong Openweight Tag Team Championships.
