Fire From the Gods (often abbreviated as FFTG) is an American rap metal band formed in Austin, Texas in 2007. Blending metal, hip hop, and melodic rock, the band has built a reputation for socially conscious lyrics addressing themes of resilience, equality, and social justice. The band's current lineup consists of lead guitarist Drew Walker, bassist Bonner Baker, rhythm guitarist Jameson Teat, drummer Richard Wicander, and lead vocalist Myke Terry, who joined in 2025 replacing longtime frontman AJ Channer. The group has gone through several lineup changes over the years since their formation. FFTG has released three full-length studio albums: Narrative (2016, Rise Records), American Sun (2019), and Soul Revolution (2022, Better Noise Music). Their single "Right Now" from American Sun reached the Top 20 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart. The band has toured extensively alongside acts such as Five Finger Death Punch, Sevendust, In Flames, and Of Mice & Men, and has performed at major festivals including the Vans Warped Tour. They are signed to Better Noise Music.
