About Kimonos

Kimonos is a DJ and production duo comprising Gabriel Falanga, originally from Italy, and Omri Malka, originally from Israel, based in the United States. Known for a sound that blends deep house, afro house, and techno with melodic and rhythmic textures, Kimonos formed after Falanga and Malka began playing together in the late 2010s, having each already built reputations in their respective home countries. The duo debuted as a recording act in 2019 with the single "En Su Lugar" featuring Malone, released on Witty Tunes, and have since earned releases on labels including Natura Viva, Hurry Up Slowly, Dear Deer, and RÜFÜS DU SOL's Rose Avenue Records. Kimonos have performed at major festivals including Coachella, Burning Man, BPM Festival, and Heart Festival Miami, as well as landmark venues in Tulum, Ibiza, New York, and Los Angeles. They have shared the decks with artists including Solomun, Bedouin, Guy Gerber, Luciano, and Blondish.
