Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, they suffered a heartbreaking loss to the Duke Blue Devils, falling 61-59 in 2010, and lost a low-scoring defensive battle against the UConn Huskies, 53-41, in "The Battle of the Big Dogs.” The Bulldogs have since moved into the powerful Big East Conference in 2013-14, where they have continued to succeed despite many expecting them to struggle.
