About Black Kray
Black Kray (born Timothy O'Neal Mills on February 23, 1994) is an American rapper, producer, and film director from Richmond, Virginia. A pioneering figure in the cloud rap and trap goth subgenres, he began making music as a teenager and released his first song on Myspace in 2007. In 2013 he founded Goth Money Records, an influential underground collective and clothing brand. Known for operating under numerous aliases including SickboyRari and Persian Cellphone Prince, Black Kray draws musical influences from Lil B, Pink Floyd, and Santigold, blending slurred, atmospheric delivery with lo-fi production. He has collaborated extensively with artists including SpaceGhostPurrp, Bladee, Yung Lean, and the Working on Dying collective, earning a devoted following in the underground hip hop scene.
