Isaiah Rashad McClain, a Chattanooga native was inspired to make OutKast's seminal album, ATLiens. Initially, he was drawn to preaching, but his direction shifted dramatically upon encountering his stepbrother's copy of the record. Interacting with its soundscape, Rashad became passionate about music. This led him to forgo his studies at Middle Tennessee State University.

In 2012, he started gaining ground, particularly when he joined Juicy J on the Smokers’ Club Tour. The link-up was the beginning of his ascent in the rap scene. The following year, he caught the attention of Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE), home to luminaries like Kendrick Lamar and ScHoolboy Q. Signing with the label in 2013, his career began in earnest.

Isaiah’s debut project, Cilvia Demo, came out in January 2014. The work quickly garnered acclaim and landed him in XXL magazine's prestigious Freshman Class feature. The momentum continued with his maiden full-length album, The Sun's Tirade, in 2016, which showcased introspective lyricism and deft narration.

Amidst personal and professional challenges, Rashad lent his talents to collaborate with fellow TDE artists and industry peers. After a four-year hiatus, he returned in 2020 with Why Worry, a single forerunning his sophomore album, The House Is Burning, released in July 2021.

Isaiah Rashad is currently on his Cilvia Demo 10-Year Anniversary Tour. The next stop is in Houston on May 20th at the House of Blues. After the Aztec Theatre on May 21st, followed by a performance at the House of Blues in Dallas on May 22nd.

On May 24th, he heads to Atlanta for a show at the Tabernacle before making his way to Chattanooga on May 25th at The Signal. The campaign continues with a stop at Marathon Music Works in Nashville on May 26th and then heads to Charlotte at The Fillmore on May 28th.

On May 29th, Rashad takes the stage at The Ritz in Raleigh, followed by a performance at The Fillmore Silver Spring on May 30th. As the tour wraps up, he holds two shows at the House of Blues in Chicago, on June 4th and June 5th, before concluding at the Citizens House of Blues in Boston on June 7th.
