About Tom Odell

Tom Odell (born November 24, 1990) is a British singer and songwriter from Chichester, West Sussex, England. Known for his piano-led, emotionally raw indie pop and folk influences, he studied at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music before moving to London to pursue a solo career. He was discovered by singer Lily Allen, who signed him to her imprint on Columbia Records, remarking that his energy onstage reminded her of David Bowie. His debut EP Songs from Another Love was released in 2012 and earned him the BRITs Critics' Choice Award. His debut album Long Way Down (2013) reached number one on the UK albums chart, and his song "Another Love" has accumulated over two billion streams on Spotify, becoming one of the most streamed British songs in history.
