The Knoxville Civic Coliseum* is located in Knoxville, an attractive city in eastern Tennessee known as the Gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains. The Coliseum is home to the (and adorably named) Knoxville Ice Bears who play in the SPHL, a regional professional hockey league. As well as an arena that seats 6,500, the Knoxville Civic Coliseum also contains a large auditorium that can host crowds of up to 2,500, making it a frequent venue for concerts, theater, comedy acts, professional wrestling, and other sporting competitions.
