The venue officially opened on January 14, 2017, with two consecutive shows by comedian Jerry Seinfeld, marking a sold-out grand opening. This event symbolized a successful collaboration between Smart Financial, the City of Sugar Land, and ACE SL LLC, establishing the venue as a state-of-the-art concert hall.
