10 Years formed in 1999 in Knoxville, Tennessee as an alternative metal band. They have gone through line-up changes over the years, and only two original members remain. 10 Years has released 10 studio albums, the most recent being in 2022. The group recorded their first album independently in 2001, and after some member changes, including the lead singer, they released another in 2004. They signed with Universal Records in 2005 and released their major debut that same year. The single “Wasteland” from that album spent a year on the rock charts, going all the way to number one. 10 Years hit the road and toured with a variety of other bands in both the U.S. and Australia. They put out their first music video in 2006 and addressed addiction and human rights issues.
