Austin Millz is an American DJ, producer, and songwriter born Austin Christopher Miller on October 30, 1988, in Harlem, New York, of Puerto Rican descent. Raised in Harlem's music-rich environment, he collected vinyl records and played piano and saxophone as a teenager before discovering beat-making software FruityLoops. His first break came in 2006 when legendary producer Sean C. took him under his wing. He attended Penn State University, earning a degree in Journalism in 2010, then returned to Harlem to pursue music full-time.
