About Emarosa

Emarosa are an American rock band formed in Lexington, Kentucky in February 2006, originally under the name Corsets Are Cages — founded by guitarist ER White, drummer Lukas Koszewski, and keyboardist Jordan Stewart, who chose music over college. The current lineup consists of White — the sole remaining founding member — and lead vocalist Bradley Walden, who joined in 2013. After releasing their debut EP This Is Your Way Out (May 1, 2007, Standby Records) with vocalist Chris Roetter, the band underwent significant lineup and sound changes, signing with Rise Records and releasing Relativity (2008) with new vocalist Jonny Craig — formerly of Dance Gavin Dance — whose distinctively soulful delivery shaped the band's early post-hardcore identity. The self-titled Emarosa (2010), produced by Brian McTernan, peaked at number 69 on the Billboard 200. Following Craig's departure in April 2011, Tilian Pearson briefly filled in; Bradley Walden was eventually installed as permanent vocalist for Versus (September 9, 2014, Rise Records), which peaked at number 61 on the Billboard 200. The band signed to Hopeless Records for 131 (2016) and Peach Club (February 8, 2019) — the latter introducing synth-pop and new wave elements. Following allegations against Walden in 2020 that led to their departure from Hopeless and Roc Nation management, Emarosa regrouped and released Sting (January 2023, Out of Line Music) — doubling down on their synth-pop evolution — and their seventh album High Horse Heaven on April 24, 2026.
